Hey /adv I've been exercising regularly and I'm curious if eating a protein bar every morning would improve my overall health. (I don't typically eat breakfast so it'd be somthing I'd start my day out with) Is it worth the 2X.XX dollars per box?
You don't need breakfast. Fasting until lunch or whenever can be really healthy actually. Most protein bars are made of shit ingredients and the ones that aren't are expensive.

Most protein bars are candy bars in disguise. They have a ridiculous amount of sugar and carbs. If you want protein and healthy vitamins, cook up a bunch of hard boiled eggs to last the week, and have one or two with a piece of fruit.
To me, protein bars are the equivalent of slimquik. You think ITS RIGHT THERE OM THE BOTTLE IT MUST BE GOOD. Then you look up ingredients and its horrible. Try to find alternatives. Maybe make a healthy sandwich before bed. Or whole grain bagel with jelly. Small fruit sllalad. Breakfast burrito. Lots of choices
You could eat a banana (slow sugars) and a hard boiled egg (proteins) for the same amount of energy, but you're sure it's not creatine mixed with cancer
If you just can't eat in the morning try to begin with only 1 egg
