Quick question: do you think a long term relationship in which you love the other person but you're not IN love with them could work out in the long run?
I love spending time with her and talking to her. We always have a good time together. But when she looks me in the eyes I don't feel that something special. But I DO like her. I'm so confused.

It can work, yes, if both make the effort to make it work. But there's the risk that you do find someone to fall in love with eventually or that she finds someone who actually is in love with her. Could still be a worthwhile effort in the meantime.
