sometimes drunk girls just happen to walk across the room and go for the first and best looking guy they see. It isn't so much that they picked ytour friends (who btw try to be less jealous of and more supportive of) OVER you so much as sheer circumstance led to the girl noticing them

Generally, besides luck, just throwing out lines through a party is a good way. College parties are the most lax social environment out there, trust me, tyou'll miss them when you and your buddies are sitting in a bar with a bunch of fake ass people trying to interact and failing. Just mind your physical demeanor, are you staring? dont. are you wobbling? try to stabilize yourself
