And to answer the question in the OP, yes. This is why you don't marry young and this is why you don't marry when you've only been intimate with one person. Thankfully you don't have any kids with her to further complicate this.

Sounds shitty but 50% of us getting married is me enlisting. Made sense to supply our selves with stable income housing and insurance and the benefits of marriage in the military and no im not enlisting because of the benefits it's just the direction life has blown me and both all of my family is/was military. I bought this was gonna be a paper official courthouse deal but nope shit hit the fan real quick.
