Don't take it personally. The insurance could be lying to avoid giving you more sessions. Maybe they hope you won't push it.
I'd ask the therapist what happened once. If things don't work out from there then yeah, start looking for a new one.

I can't imagine ever going to a therapist. Telling all that to someone you don't know. Does it really help?
