It's either 10 minutes of riding in the rain, or 30 minutes of walking in the rain (dancing & singing optional)

The water that sprays from the wheels isn't anywhere as bad as the one pouring from the sky
There's these protective thingies over the wheels anyway that limit the splash

Bring a change of clothes in a backpack under your poncho. Basically pick a pair of quicker drying pants you don't care about, wear it to work, then change in the bathroom when you get there.

Many people use this method to get around showing up to work in sweaty clothing during the summer. Just reserve one pair of pants for rain cycling to save on laundry.
