Considered putting this on /int/ or /trv/, thought I'd try here first.
To keep things short, I have to learn about 200 words in Chinese as quickly as possible. How do I go about this wanting to kms.
Bonus points for anything that doesn't involve flashcards.

Humans learn best by immersion.
Go into a chinese resturant, and ask to work for free in the kitchen for a bit. Tell them all you want out of it is for them to refer to things in Chinese until you learn what it means.
I dont know chinese but lets say chicken was like "naolong". If they keep saying "Whitey we need u to cook naolong now"
you will learn that shit incredibly quick.

Not, OP, but I served in a restaurant working with Chinese only speaking people for about a month and learned next to nothing. I mostly had to communicate through drawings and the register system. The people I worked with were not very friendly towards white people and more kept to themselves. To be fair, I wasn't making it a point to make friends or anything, I just didn't get the same kind of help from them that they'd give to one another, even when it actively hurt the business.
They were also untrusting of suspicious situations. My boss would have loved to hire somebody who would work for nothing, but probably wouldn't have believed anybody offering to do so.
