Yes, it's silly.

Unless it's your cup of tea, Tinder and similar dating sites nowadays are full of attention-seekers, picky yet desperate people looking to trap partner into commitment, people looking for easy hook-up, catfish.

There are people who look for long-term commitment and partner in there, but they're drowned in sea of people I mentioned above. Making it a better idea to just go be active in offline communities and pickup your date from there especially if you're still in your 20s
