it put me in a catatonic deep depression that lasted 6 months, which then lessened to a slightly less depressed state for 2 years until I finally cut all ties

I gained some confidence and started from small talk to flirting then one thing led to another and we got together shy girls are the best because you work so hard to open them up and get them to feel the same way you do about them, she ended it though because im an idiot and now im paying the price i told her ill wait for her but god damn it hurts and i dont think ill ever find anyone else like her.
