How do I un-/pol/ myself? Ever since I got redpilled, my life and everything about myself has been utterly depressing. I recently broke up with a girl just because she kissed a black kid when she was younger. Not for racism as you might think, but I genuinely believe racemixing is wrong and I should stay away from that. I used to be happier. Being a rightwing fellow in a California university sure as hell isn't helping. I try to blend in and act like I used to, but I feel fake as shit and my /pol/ knowledge kicks in.

No, I am not insecure or afriad of whatever you think. I just see the world with the fucked up goggles and I want off this damn ride already. I miss being bluepilled.

You do realise that most of them are Virgin neckbeards living in their parents basement right?

how the fuck do you fall for this

You can't un-/pol/ but you should not have taken that "no race mixing" thing so serious. Really, half of it all is in good humor. Seriously, do you avoid movies entirely cause there's always 1 Jew in them?

This desu. You will find out how silly you are for having prejudice on the sole purpose of their skin pigmentation. There is thugs and then there is normal black people. Doesn't mean everyone is bad lol

>double dubs
>hitler dubs
Oh the irony.

It seems being a /pol/ack was your destiny all along. Kek has spoken.

If anything instead of blaming the redpill, you have to reflect on yourself. You are still in anger phase and act according to your anger. Learn self-control and be enlightened.

Imagine how she felt.. probably pretty cruddy.. thinking a guy left her for something she probably considered insignificant. Or worse, maybe you made her feel ashamed..

If you hate what you've become, maybe you can try calling that girl and apologizing. Instead of letting hate control your life.
>>

>>
Tbh I'm kind of in the same boat

My ex dumped me because she was super liberal and has some weird obsession with black lives matter (she's a white girl). I said they were inciting violence against police and that their whole agenda was bullshit and people like Mike brown deserved what they got, linked her a bunch of videos and articles backing up my claims and she couldn't handle it.

Then this past election made me realize how fucking retarded the modern liberal is. Things like the women's march, the constant riots, etc

Wish I could go back to being unaware of the worlds problems and politics in general
>>
>>18091230
>its just skin color maymay

>>18091188
Ride it out OP, you will come out A-ok
When your worldview changes there is always some level of discomfort and in this particular aspect theres a lot of push for you to not, so it becomes harder

When you can see it and it all feels so shockingly true/apparent then what makes you think you can unsee it anyway?

Make friends with /pol/acks
>>
>>18091266
I have done this and it hasn't changed my opinion of black people at all

I said they were inciting violence against police and that their whole agenda was bullshit and people like Mike brown deserved what they got, linked her a bunch of videos and articles backing up my claims and she couldn't handle it.

the problem is when dumb shits, regardless of their /pol/ lean, take their autistic behavior cringes, and dress them up in the clothes of a political pundit, and then proceed to try and browbeat other people.

most people don't want to hear anyone's shit, not just yours. They aren't in a mindset to be persuaded, but dumbshits insist upon having discussions to try and show them they are wrong anyway.

pick your battles better.

OP, do have skype or discord? I think I could un-/pol/ you without any tricks; just truth and good arguments. I always stick out for right-wingers who really would change if they had good arguments like they often say they would, unlike most of my liberal peers. I am the tolerant liberal that normans poke fun at so much.
>>
Op you can't reverse the red pill.

Trust me, what they say is true, but you need to just avoid any kind of news sources, occupy your time with something else, just avoid all world affairs. You're not going to change your views but you'll put up with them. I've been clean of politics for 3 weeks or so, so I'm with you, but I'm doing it because politics are killing me.

It's not /pol/, its the fact you've seen the truth about the lies we are fed, so just avoid the lies at all costs. If you want I can give you some more tips and such, don't listen to these faggots who think /pol/ is nonsense, they have no idea about any truth in the matters you and I focus on.

Just recognize their tactics

/Pol/ operates as a "Motte and bailey".

They point out something that is true, then they link it to crazy

Example:
Some feminists are fucking crazy. Therefore all women suck.

Radical muslims are the worst people on earth. Therefore all muslims must die.

Black people commit most crimes in the us. Therefore they are an inferior race etc.

Learn how to divide the crazy from the rational.
>>
>>18092619
You are exactly what op doesn't need, trying to debate him will do nothing but drive it further in when he hears your "good arguments"

He needs to quit politics completely, not fucking argue and school you with statistics and facts.
>>

>>
>>18091290
>OMG OP think about how SHE FELT that you broke up with her
>its not like people break up all the time for even more trivial reasons
>>
>>18092661
It's much much deeper than that, comrade.

Those points have more than one reason, they have many reasons to why people believe that. Until you've experienced it first hand and really have gone in to it, you will continue to over simply the opinions that they hold.
>>
>>18091391
Id say not having agreement over BLM is actually a very large sign the relationship as a whole is not compatible

Its a very polarizing issue

>violent, even terroristic organization
>group of people who are so oppressed it is worth rioting and attempted murder

You should date someone with similar views as yourself, imagine if you had kids and argued all the time over how to raise them

The battle was just a little chunk of ice on the water that in reality is a massive iceberg just waiting to sink a ship
>>
>>18092671
No one should quit politics if they believe they have any rights or freedom at all

When people casually accept just letting politics out of their lives theyre just agreeing to allow everyone in politics to run things for them
>>
>>18092671
Let him speak for himself dude
>>
>>18092694
Give me your discord and lets debate
>>
>>18092661
yeah this raises a good point, it might be good for OP to do some research into logical fallacies and understand how arguments work
become intelligent enough to see where /pol/ arguments devolve into nonsense
start with simple "if P then Q" shit and move onto the more obfuscated argument styles that people tend to use to justify needless prejudice
>>
>>18092713
What parts of /pol/ do you accept, which parts do you find ridiculous, and why?
>>
>>18092707
It's rare when people have the freedom to ignore politics, considering most countries force propaganda down the citizens throats.

There is no point in worrying about things you cannot control, that's all politics is. Op wants out, and I know exactly why, and I know the biggest concerns to him are things he can't control. The lack of power we have over situations is what frustrates people, and when it's constantly in front of us, yet we can make no change, it drives us to insanity.

>>18092709
Our debates mean nothing, whatever we argue about it is not in our control regardless. It's better to focus on the level we live on then argue about things 5 levels above us.

>>18092713
The fact you invalidate what /pol/ believes only puts you on par with what you see them as. Each topic has individual factors, there is no pol boogeyman.
>>
Watch American History X if you want the antidote to the redpill.
>>
>>18092728
Fighting propaganda with more propaganda solves nothing
>>
>>18092725
>Our debates mean nothing, whatever we argue about it is not in our control regardless.
That's not true for everyone, especially not politicians, innovators, and artists, all of which OP could become if he wanted, and it could be the case that he would want to if he had the same information I did.
>>
>>18092713
This
When they aren't spouting nonsense they talk in gibberish abstract notions that you can't even argue because they don't mean anything concrete
(Like here >>18092725)
>>
>>18092720
Jews are trying to make interracial porn to destroy the white man and Hitler did nothing wrong
>>
>>18092742
If he wanted to be that he already would be, it's not hard to be on either side.

Op wants out, he said it clearly. You swaying his right wing opinion to a left wing opinion does nothing but keep him in the political game. It's like saying you're going to get him off coke by swapping it with heroin.
>>18092745
You are just as ignorant to /pol/ as you could assume I am to whatever political views you have. Difference is, I understand that, where you just think what I say is nonsense because you disagree.
>>
>>18092725
You literally talk about how awesome your debate skills are, then dont want to debate

I call bullshit

Also

>best to ignore our problems
>yep we cant change anything
>lets ignore all those times in history the people changed things drastically
>nuh uh cant happen

People like you are why life fucking sucks
>>
>>18092753
>If he wanted to be that he already would be, it's not hard to be on either side.
I mean I may have philosophical reasons they don't have which might be anywhere from not at all to mostly not relevant to political faction.
>>
>>18092755
As I've said many many times, op says he wants out, and the way to get out is to do what you find so ridiculous

I'm not trying to say my debate skills are awesome, I'm trying to tell people that op is trying to wash his hands clean, not paint them from red to blue.
>>
>>18092725
Politics are something you can control

I live in the USA.

I vote in local elections and I vote for local laws. I can run for various political offices. I can campaign and sway the votes of others. I can expose information relating to politics. I have a right to bear arms, and if a large number of people genuinely wanted to revolt - we are actually capable of it unlike other places.

Supreme Court Justices were born the same as us, yet they through their own hard work and talent rose to become some of the most if not the most influential and important political figures.
>>
>>18092753
>You are just as ignorant to /pol/ as you could assume I am to whatever political views you have. Difference is, I understand that, where you just think what I say is nonsense because you disagree

I can't say I disagree with you or agree with you on anything because you haven't really said anything.

I am just saying /pol/ sometimes uses this style of debate
>>
>>18092734
I'm pretty sure anyone who has seen that movie and knows how it ends wouldn't call it propaganda.

>>18092764
You shit on /pol/ saying they spout nonsense, and by that you are spouting nonsense, because you are classifying different opinions as irrelevant.

Basically your opinion is that pol spouts shit nonsense, when you are spouting shit nonsense by outright saying their opinions are irrelevant.
>>18092763
Yes, but op doesn't want that. I'm speaking in context that op can choose not to be involved, because he's stating that's what he wants.
>>
>>18092772
>You shit on /pol/ saying they spout nonsense, and by that you are spouting nonsense, because you are classifying different opinions as irrelevant.

Damn man...

I just saying, people from /Pol/ often repeat, let say, very colorful interpretations of what's going on in the world. An example would be that the Jews trying to make white woman like black men. When you start asking serious questions about their absurd theories they revert to abstract philosophy with no concrete meaning, somewhat similar to what you were doing.
>>
>>18092813
Considering that there has been a recent push for interracial couples in films, directed by Jews with companies owned by Jews, it's not that far of a stretch.

I don't want to go into it, but I just think that everyone has a reason for their opinions, but the pol boogeyman is a meme. It's fine to disagree, but honestly refuting it as a whole is silly. If you wanted information you can usually find why they feel the way they do, same with left wing outlets. With that you can make your own choice on whether you agree, but I think saying pol is shit turns people away from making their own assessment. No matter how many people tell you not to touch a stove, you'll never really know until you feel it for yourself.
>>
>>18091188

>>18091188
Oh, another token anti-/pol/ thread? A pretty shit bait, my son. Try harder next time.
>>
>>18092850
No, I'm saying that telling people SJWs are bad or pol is bad will sway most people to just believe that, without actually going in depth and assessing it themselves.

It's like how the media was actively painting trump as racist and other things, most people just believed it and instantly assumed it was true without searching themselves and forming their own thought. If they believe it after "experiencing" the information they find, then so be it. If people thoroughly search through information and become SJWs, all power to them, because they came to their own conclusion, even though I disagree.

What it boils down to is that it's unfair to both parties to not let people reach their own conclusion. If someone asked me about /pol/ I would tell them to go to it and figure it out for themselves, that way they go in without having a bias upon them.

No one chooses to be born. No one chooses the conditions in which they are born. Almost every person on this planet is busy living with their own life. People who want to control your life generally believe they are doing it for their own vision the greater good. Most people can empathize with you if you take the time to empathize with them. most people aren't bad people. If you give each person a chance, if you discard the assumptions you make about them, if you open your heart, if you find it in yourself to find the good in others, if you forgive their faults.
You will be happy.

Cringing so hard man.

But since this is the advice board and all....you should know that about 99% of this website is toxic and the other 1% is just mindless fluff.

You are the company you keep. If you spend hours upon hours hanging out with bitter neo-nazis who hate and despise everything that doesn't agree with their supremacist propaganda, even if you don't agree with them, their tendencies will get passed onto you.

/pol/ is not cool, /pol/ is not enlightened, /pol/ is not "always right"...It's just another hug-box on the internet full of bitter 20 something year olds who are trying their hardest not to take responsibility for the failures in their own lives. The sadness in their lives is always someone's fault. You are taught to see the negative in everything, you read everyday about the worst parts of humanity, you see the filth that's inside the worst kind of people who believe everyone should be like them.

tl;dr: You un-/pol/ yourself by staying away from that cesspool and associating with real life individuals who aren't toxic.

The OP is hilarious
The term "red pill", for what I know comes from The Matrix, and it seems to imply knowing some objective truth, yet a lot of what is pol and certainly what OP holds are nothing but beliefs. Implanted by propaganda. Drilled by a bunch of teenagers. And so on.
Desite all this "red pill" thing, he breaks up with a girl for some very stuid reason that shows that this person is actually brainwashed into a dividing mindset (I don't mean race dividing, but the fundamental "us vs them" boogeyman divide), which pretty much means that this person hasn't really attained any sort of deeper understanding of anything, he's just seeing things superficially and through a lense of learned preconceptions.
>/pol/knowledge
Funny, I've realized that the "Red Pill" is the ultimate delusion, simply because it's a delusion that pretends to be the truth. It's kind of a second system effect. In the end, whether there is or isn't truth to anything OP believes (and, as with anything, it's a blend of both truth and false), it is all really a belief... which he claims to be "knowledge".
Ultimately there is no red pill and blue pill.
You could disagree with me all you want, but the OP is clearly revealing a very short-sighted attitude towards thing and the fact that he embraces implanted beliefs as "knowledge" and perhaps even as "truth". All the more, all this acquired knowledge of his comes from a bunch of teenagers who spend their whole days at a meme spouter website where actual discussion is a rare occurrence.
Sorry that I don't have any advice OP, I was really just "thinking out loud". But as with any thread that is even remotely related to /pol/ or politics, I know that this thread is already a shitfest, I don't even need to look at it, as I am already 200% sure.
>>
>>18093835
All politics is subjective, therefore there is no true 'red pill'. I like it. Put into words something I've been thinking for a while.
Also, no its not really a shit fest. Just people telling OP that he's a moron.
>>
>>18093835
>But as with any thread that is even remotely related to /pol/ or politics, I know that this thread is already a shitfest, I don't even need to look at it, as I am already 200% sure
See this is not really a well thought out post. Truth is not just what you are super sure about. Truth is what is true. The Red Pill is what is true that you are not prepared for. And when a redpilled person kind of gets over it, they dance around and make comedy and memes about it, and people like you who are not primed see this and think, they are celebrating evil. No, they are celebrating the truth, which you perceive as evil, because you have not followed the correct steps in logic to perceive as anything but.

I was never overwhelmed by this shit mostly because i'm not a pathetic beta male with the illusion that race mixing is the greatest threat to white birth rates.
What you need to do is spend some time reviewing your opinions, going over scientific papers, studying history.
Realise that the anti jew shit is total crap but the rest has at least a grain of truth to it.
Whenever you see some sort of infograph or talmudic quote, take a fucking magnifying glass to it because SO MUCH of that shit is fabricated by stormfront.
Maybe start listening to some more normie republicans (ben shapiro is pretty smart for example).
A lot of your positions will most likely shift but that doesn't have to mean you have to bow out of politics or start rooting for leftists.
When something big happens, go to where they would find that news inconvenient to their narrative and see what they're saying about it.
It's the closest to objectivity you can get.

Also stop browsing /pol/. Get some interests that actually make you feel good.

He's obviously an idiot because he can't see "red pill" outside of a political context. He only sees it in the way /pol/ defines it, not in the way it was used in the movie. The "red pill" in Matrix wasn't even political at all. A real world example of this is a person who assumed the world was flat then realizing the world was round all along.

I would argue that the way /pol/ sees it isn't political either, like being "red pilled on the JQ" doesn't really imply any sort of ideology. It just implies that you think you found out the reality of what jews are based on some fake talmud and false flag propaganda images.

What you put in your head over and over becomes who you are. Look into mindfulness meditation and learning how to just let go and accept other peoples' decisions. Realize that 99.9% of everyone else's actions and habits don't affect you at all. Being mad at someone else, especially without them even knowing it, is like holding a red-hot coal in your hand and expecting them to feel it. Another way to define "redpilled" is "a constant refusal to accept other people's decisions." Living every moment of your life focusing on people that aren't even a part of your life is a sure formula for misery and anxiety. Looking up Wayne Dyer's stuff might help. So will positive affirmations. The fact that you're reaching out to change means it's ready to happen. Genuinely wishing you the best of luck!

>they are celebrating the truth

They are circlejerking each other for being contrarian. That's literally it. It's not like /pol/ is the new Athens where new ideas and philosophies are discussed. It's just a cesspool of hate and derision.

If all /pol/ users understood the naturalistic fallacy and Occam's razor, the only remaining people would be those who wanted to be bigoted for its own sake... Which could be as many as 90% of them without surprise.

Being open minded and being naive are two different things.

You'll grow up.
Eventually.
