Simply I bought Logitech Z506 Surround sound

I hooked up to cable box.

Works awesome with TV now.

please note.
the dvd player has only one audio hole reading as "audio digital coaxial output"

Will i need this coaxial cable?
And if yes what does the other end of the digital coaxial cable connect to after i connect to dvd
