Recently received a large amount of money and I need to spend some of it to be eligible for some government assistance. I am looking for two things:
>car ~$5000
I don't know much about cars, but I'm looking for a mid-size sedan, if I had to choose one it would be the Nissan Altima. I'm looking for a model around 2008 or better. I currently drive a 94 Honda Accord that is about to die.
>bed ~$1000
Poor sleep and sore back and shoulders. Current bed has a memory foam top but still looking for a new mattress online. I don't want to go to a store because I have horrible anxiety. I have seen a lot of Purple ads, but it seems fake and overhyped. The Leesa mattress looks nice, but I really don't know what to choose.
Any suggestions? (I'm not getting a car bed)

Buy a Used accord or Civic. Or Corolla or Camry. If you want reliability they really can't be beat.
Bed you should go to a furniture store. Buy a nice frame and maybe drawers

Go to /o/ and read the sticky, it's a 5k budget sticky, best recommendations, then ask /o/ with questions.
Don't get the Altima, if you really don't have any interest in driving a nice or a quick car.. get a Corolla/Camry. Otherwise look to /o/for some recommendations

The sticky on /o/ gives me a 404 error when I click it, that is the first place I looked. I don't need anything too nice, but I have been driving a piece of shit for 10 years and would like the upgrade.

Yeah but what years are good for those cars? Also, I don't need drawers or a nice frame, just going to get a platform base on Amazon.
