anyone here had lasik?
how much should it be? I'm seeing varying prices and wonder if paying low could mean its risky/less trustworthy?

lasik is actually a brand name for the record, so if you check out what iteration of the machine they are using and what the differences between them are, you will see what the actual risks are.
like any science it develops over time, but unlike a random treatment or surgery its based entirely on what htese laserbeams can do for you.
my father had lasik done when i was younger, roughly 15 years ago, and it was pretty cool. he came home that night and we were watching TV on a tiny tiny tiny tiny like 10 inch screen that was way too far away, and he was able to read all the subtitles from a foreign language (we were in the middle of a move for the record so our normal sized TV was in storage).
