>mfw "my friend" might be addicted to ice (meth)
Is there any way to help him?
He doesn't think he's addicted but after being introduced to it by his girlfriend 5 weeks ago and smoking once a week with her since then (5 times in total), he's been thinking about it a bit more than usual lately.
Should alarm bells be ringing?

they should but thats the thing about addiction and drugs. drugs are fun. so no one really thinks they're addicted until its way too late.
his best hope is rehab cuz meth is some serious shit.

What this dude said. I don't think you'll ever hear a "don't worry, it's just meth" coming from anyone but a meth addict.
Honestly OP, painful as it is if he doesn't see an issue after taking a hard drug weekly directly after being introduced to it, he's beyond salvation at least for now. People only see what they want to see.

What's the signs of addiction though?
Some people can stop and start alcohol/drugs/cigs like it aint no thing.

ur thinking of alcohol and weed. this is meth. there is a reason why they say 'meth' nto even once.
users describe it as using it once and then the next day feeling the need to go buy another bag.

Meth is a hell of a drug. Everyone knows that meth wrecks lives and is highly addictive, and even if you don't get addicted, incredibly damaging even for a drug.
If someone sincerely, 100% is not addicted, he needs to be one fucking brainless retard to do this shit on a weekly basis. That in itself is a giveaway that his logical reasoning lost to the desire to have more. People who sincerely have a relaxed, non-problematic relationship with drugs typically don't need to do them all the time.
