What is depression and how do I find out if I'm depressed

My therapist told me I'm depressed, or at least show multiple signs of depression.
I struggle with thinking that maybe I'm not just depressed and just really lazy. And then that kinda makes me depressed. It's weird.

I could be both maybe...but I'm not sure. Probably both but I'm more depressed than lazy definitely.

You're most likely depressed with some comorbid disorder.

Based on the wording (emphasis on a feeling that you're lazy) I'd guess adult ADD.

If I may hijack your thread with a related question OP,
What do you do when you've done the drugs, you've done the therapy, and you still just want to die?
And yes, I've tried many different drugs, and gone to dozens of therapists.
