I graduate undergrad in less than 3 months and I've started looking for jobs. The problem is, many would require me to move out of my parent's home. This is great, but the problem is I have no start up money to pay for a month of rent, utilities, security deposit, food, etc. while I wait for my first few paychecks to arrive.
How do I get myself set up in a new place without this start up money? Relocation is virtually non-existent since I'm entry level.
Go to a bank and ask for a small personal loan and explain your situation. You will most likely be approved if you state you will be receiving x amount per week.

Alternatively you could ask family members for a loan up front to cover your moving costs. Or sell some of your stuff if you have anything of value. Depending on how desperate you are, there are more creative (read: not illegal) options. Though your best bet by far is the suggestion of the first poster.

I was in your same situation a year ago - no wait, still am. I hope you like working retail to pay off loans and save so you can move to get a better job so you can start your career in your late 20s.
when negotiating for the job, if you can pull it off ask for a signing bonus.
