I was dating this girl for a couple months and I absolutely love her. I've been in enough relationships before but this girl is literally perfect to me in every way. She doesn't want a relationship anymore though. She went through a really rocky break up before we started dating and she feels like she's not in the right mindset to be with me. I respect her decision, but it really fucking hurts. We're still best friends but it sucks because we still have these feelings for each other. I want to be with her more than anyone, but it's not good for her right now. I don't know what to do.

Honestly I would be thinking the same thing, it's definitely happened to me before. She's really different though. I know that's dumb shit people always say when they're in denial, but she's a very honest and open person. If she wanted to get out I'm certain she would've told me.

It's cool you're willing to respect her wishes to work on her issues before jumping back into a relationship. It hurts right now and it's confusing. Just know that you're still in her life and she's in yours and you're still friends. Just learn to be the role of her friend first for right now. Support her how never she needs when it comes to the friendship. You'll know if she's just trying to let you go easy.
