I've had this bruise over a week and it's still fresh.

Dear God, that's an arm?!

I get bruises like that from lifting boxes lots. The corners tend to cut into the inside of the arm.

It's too localized to be much else than a common bruise, honestly.

Could be more prone to it from poor dietary habits. Not enough vitamin K or whatever.

Have you taken any NSAIDs lately? Those can make it easier for you to bruise and cause bruises to last longer.
