Damn, and no I would not be freaked if my g friend said I love you while sleeping even though 2 months is a short amount of time it's honeymoon phase so I tend to ignore proclamations of love accident or otherwise

2 months is pretty short for the L word, and he can either blame the dream or get paranoid and think that maybe you're dreaming of someone else, because you've never told him you love him.
My advice would be: Don't sweat it bird, if you feel really paranoid maybe wait two more months and discuss it jokingly, don't be too serious about it, it's not a big deal.

There's nothing wrong with loving someone you didn't know for a long time. Only a madman would be scared of being loved. People are freaked out by these words because they either don't know how to respond to them or they see it as clinginess. And yeah, clinginess is bad, two months or twenty years after you start a relationship, but it's definitely not the same as loving someone.
If anything, it would make me happy.

I know it's not a big deal, and I know we're very early in the relationship. I do have strong feelings for him but I'm not delusional and I know that we don't know each other very well yet etc. I'm reasonable about it and I don't want to freak him, is all...

Thanks, that made me feel better. It's closer to my mindset. I don't understand why people discuss love as something that flourishes after 5 years of being together. To me falling in love means to love. After the spark is gone it's friendship and care for one another that's left. That is love. Being in love on week 4 is also love. Very different kinds yes..but still
