Did I just get hired at walmart?
I just interviewed for an overnight position in a walmart in Tehachapi.. then after a question or two, the woman had me start signing some paperwork for a drug test and background check. She told me to come back in the morning for the drug screening, and gave me a welcome packet to take home.
I mean, it seems like I'm hired, but it seemed too easy. I interviewed at Walmart once before like 10 years ago, and was asked a shit ton of questions about what I'd do in certain situations. Being the autistic faggot nigger that I am, I bombed every single one and wasn't called back. She didn't ask me anything like that though.
What are the odds that I'm actually going to get hired once I pass the drug test?
There were two other people who got interviewed and they seemed like perfectly fine, normal, non-autist people who had no issues talking to people. I know I didn't do any better in this interview than in any other that I've done. Why would they choose me? Is life finally taking pity on me, or has Trump already made America great again that quickly that even I can get hired?
Yes, congratulations anon
You won
I was on the same boat as you about a year ago.
They have VERY low expectations for people applying to jobs with high turnover rates.

I won't celebrate until I know for sure. I still can't believe it...

I guess that makes sense. I can imagine not too many people can work overnight routinely...
Walmart will basically hire anyone because people will eventually quit after a month or so. They gotta keep replacing.
See this

If you don't get it, just apply again in a month or two.

Yeah I was confused too when they hired me.
But now, 6 months later they are trying to downsize and I might 'accidentally' get fired.
