The problem is that she has bpd that's how we learned to know eachother in the first place. Now she's down very often and I know that she will attempt or at least threaten suicide if I start to break it off. A 20 year old person is not magically more mature than a 15 years old person, it really depends on the individual. I was a manchild untill pretty late in my life and was dating a 16 years old at 23, parents were cool with it and she had a better head on her shoulders than me, helped me transition into an adult.
