Whether you have an affinity for people or not, you have to find a group or you will fail so push that out of your head. Don't even think about it. The actions you need to take are 1. Go to class 2. Identify a group of people 3. Tell them you have to find a new group and ask them if you can join 4. Repeat until you find a group. Whether you're sweating the fucking niagra falls while you do it, or they're all laughing at you all that matters is a "Yes or No". If by some unlikely turn of events every group says No then explain to your teacher and if you can't get a satisfactory resolution, go over their heads. Go to the department head or even the dean. Document all attempts to rectify this and do your part. Here's your advice now go forth.

i had to do this myself when i was in uni. it sucked and they pushed all the work onto me but i got a good grade anyway sorry it sucks
