explain the situation to friends, family, etc. use your credit card to just withdraw cash. open up a personal line of credit at the bank so you always have this option.

or just go to a payday advance place and take a loan out there.

I don't have a bank account. Some identity theft occured about 14 months ago. So no credit cards...Yet. I'm intrigued to learn more about these payday advance places though.

Update: I just called a loan place and they don't do payday loans in my state. Haven't done them for about 4 years.

If your landlord is cool and you write him a check and then ask him to wait a week before he cashes it? Most of them are understanding and since they have the paper check with them it's not such a big deal
