Can someone recommend me a good laptop for college? I'm going to be studying finance. Price is not an issue but not riced out gamer stuff please. Thank you.

if price is no issue you should definitely get a new macbook pro.

Obviously no Macs.
I did Econ and Stats and it was funny to watch all the Mac babbies struggling to use our programs for some of the classes.
Anyway, I think Asus might be your best bet. For $550 I brought a laptop in 2010 and I'm still using it now. Plays Skyrim and Civ 5 fine

Can't... I need programs for my finance classes.
How's this guys? https://www.amazon.com/DELL-XPS-15-2133MHZ-3840X2160/dp/B01B9TQR7K/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1486009843&sr=1-1&keywords=dell+xps+15+4k

dell xps is a good choice yeah, but why would you ever go for that over a macbook pro? you can bootcamp windows on it np so assholes trashing on apple don't really know wtf they're talking about. macos and the vastly superior trackpad more than qualify them as better than any other laptop.
have you ever even used a mac trackpad?

Even if price isn't an issue, if all you're going to do is browse the internet and use Microsoft Office then a ThinkPad is a great option. Sturdy, reliable, long battery life, good deal all around. /g/ has a laptop purchasing guide, and my refurbished ThinkPad only cost $200.
Get a Lenovo Thinkpad
I believe they're the only brands approved for use in space by the International Space Station.
They have great resale values too.

macbook all the way.
Twice the price, zero compatibility, you'll end up spending another 3k to have a set of everything apple because none of your other equipment will talk with it.
When it breaks after 2 years, you'll buy another, because you've already bought the ipod, iphone, ipad, ifag.
You're welcome,
Here you go
