I am translating a novel from English language to my Thai language
and now i have a problem to understand this page

Hey, I've been thinking about reading this book. From what I know about the story it sounds like she has wet hair (from the rain or getting out of the shower), she sees him and shakes her head "no" so hard and that shakes the water out of her hair and makes the wet strands smack into the walls/doorframe and then stick to her face. Like when someone with long hair shakes their head after getting out of a pool
