So I met a girl and I have a few problems.
Every time I say something she takes it complitely literal and misunderstands my intention.
I like her very much and she's a kind person even though she always says straight what she is thinking.
The problem is that I don't get her sometimes.
Like when I try to complement her she often tries to find flaws in what I said, but doesn't notice that it is a compliment.
I feel like we are in that way an exact opposite of each other.
She doesn't even understand why I would compliment her if I say it to her exactly like that, she finds it annoying.
Please help me on how I can communicate with her better.

She could have autism, asperger or be really dumb.
If nothing of these is true there's a chance she has deep psychological issues. The kind that only a trained professional can fix. Maybe she's been hurt before, maybe she has a mental illness, whatever it is you can't personally do anything about it.
If she's healthy, sane and comes across as someone with at least average intellect she probably just likes torturing you emotionally and she's being a bitch.
Tell her you genuinely like her and you're being nice to her and not trying to insult her. If she only responds badly when you compliment her then stopping that would fix things, at least for now. If you can't have a simple conversation without her being insulted then she's either damaged in some way or she doesn't really like you that much and she's being a jerk intentionally.
Try to present to her your own pov so she knows how you feel about this situation and ask her about what makes her misunderstand you so often. If she refuses to understand, talk about it and solve it together or simply can't, it is in your best interest to let her go. Being unable to communicate with someone is a legit reason to cut ties.

Low self esteem, not used to compliments, possibly issues with family growing up maybe her parents didn't make her feel loved, etc .
Unfortunately all you can do is make her feel loved, don't give her false compliments for the sake of complimenting her but it'll take a while to get that you really care.

My sister in law grew up in a poor environment, just like anon described. Just accept her for who she is and encourage her as much as you can
