I've been experiencing recurrent cases of pinworms over the past 12 years of my life.
I'm at my wit's end over this. Sometimes I get it regularly (couple of times a year), other times I can avoid them for a year or so. All I know is they make my asshole incredibly itchy at night time when I have it (like unbearably so, it's driven me close to tears at times) and that it leaves my digestive tract rumbling and feeling awful.
I've tried various over the counter medications, but it keeps coming back. To soothe it at night in recent times I've been shoving a peeled clove of garlic up my ass to stop the itching.
I'm sick to death of being extremely uncomfortable and not being able to tell anybody about it as it's fucking disgusting having a parasitic issue.
Before anyone asks I'm a clean person and have to tried washing everything I have multiple times.

Seriously, there are deworming drugs. Go ask for some.

You have to be getting them from somewhere.
Do you have a dog or a child or are in contact with them? Do you buy your groceries/food from a dodgy ethnic shop? Do you live near something that could be spreading shit in the air (e.g. fertilizer, sewerage, etc).
Alternatively you're not treating them properly and they're just coming back each time.

Wormwood tea helps quite well, if you drink nothing but it.

Sleep with underwear on
Change bedsheets twice a week for a month
Shower everyday for a month
Take the meds as adviced, the red-dye variant killed the ones I suffered from back when I got it.
