Heading to the back end of my 20s, still socially retarded and still a wageslave in a soul-destroying job. Have a STEM degree that's almost 5 years old.
Wondering if I should quit my shitty job and put all my effort into finding a career that doesn't destroy my back.
Problem is, the job is my only form of human contact and routine. I fear I'll become a recluse without it.
What do you (older) guys suggest?
oh jesus. I'm home from work today because my back hurts too much to go in and I've been thinking the same things. my stem degree is just biology and it's almost 9 years old, but still.

Should have went /biz/ degree. You get a cushiony desk job and spend like half the day just talking to people
If you do something you're passionate about you're way more likely to find people that you actually connect with. Nothing long with being a recluse for a little until you can make that happen. You'll be happier for the rest of your life because of it.
Or you could never find a job and become really depressed idk

Aside from the /biz/ degree I guess you have to have a silver tongue.

apply for new jobs on the weekend. or if you ahve the money saved to do a job hunt, simply GO OUTSIDE AND TALK TO PEOPLE.
