Hey /adv/,

about three monthes ago I lost my sex drive. It started with an illness that lasted a little over two weeks, during which it was understandable that I didn't have any particular desire, but even after returning to health the idea of fucking just seems like more of a hassle than the fun times I've had with my partners for a long time.
To clarify, I'm a bottom with a few FWBs who all know of each other. I can fap just fine and I still enjoy cuddling, but my desire for getting penetrated has died.

How do I restore my libido?
Should I watch more porn and stop masturbating, let the 'pressure' build up?
Or maybe I was too desensitized, should I stop watching porn to lower my tolerance?

Try being a top.
>>
>>18009022
While I lost the desire to bottom recently, I never wanted to top in the first place, so, nah.
>>
Stop masturbating with toys if that's a thing.

Take Fenugreek. Eat dark chocolate.
>>
>I don't wanna be a faggot anymore please help
>>
>>18009033
I stopped doing that around the same time, I feel like I've gotten so tight that the bigger ones won't fit easily anymore - much less a real dick.

I've thought about eating a lot of aphrodisiac things, but isn't that just a short term effect?

>>18009036
Actually I want to go back to being a faggot again.
It was a good life.
>>
If you're not already, start jogging. Kicks up everything that makes you feel good and there's a good chance it will restore your sex drive.

Things like this can go when you're depressed, have you noticed any other symptoms such as a lack of appetite, general "down" feeling, sleeping too much or too little or a lack of interest in things you used to enjoy?
>>
>>18009051
I've never done a lot of sports, I find it hard to take the time with all of the other things going on in my life - but I guess that's worth a shot.

I've had phases of mild depression in the past, and there might just be some truth to this, but this lack of motivation is not only lasting longer than usual, but also much more pronounced in this particular area. I'm certainly not feeling down all of the time.

Fenugreek is a wonderful women's general health supplement. It just has the added effect of making your boobs bigger, hornier than usual, and making you cum harder.

http://www.webmd.com/vitamins-supplements/ingredientmono-733-fenugreek.aspx?activeingredientid=733&

My girlfriend took it when she had a low-sex drive coming off some meds and it had a pretty strong initial effect.

Depression and I go way back. We're good friends.
You're right in that it is worth a shot.

It's easy to say to yourself that "I don't have time or energy for it" but in reality, jogging will give you more energy. I know I'm an anon and I don't want to speak too much on what you should and shouldn't do but I'd say you should give 3 times a week a try. You don't have to jog for too long, it can be for 20, 15 or even just 3 minutes. The point is that you get out and do it. The lower the threshold is the easier it will be for you to get it done, so don't make that step too high. Baby-steps.

I've never been a sports-fan myself but ever since I lost all that weight in 2012 I've considered myself a professional runner. Just think about your breathing during the jog, and don't go too fast -- there's a difference between jogging and running, and in your case I believe jogging will do fine. We're only aiming towards feeling better.

I hope I didn't take too much control here, I don't want to be that dick who thinks he knows best. Just do what you feel is the healthy thing to do for you.
>>
>>18009075
Worth a try as well, I assume you ask for this at the local pharmacy?

>>18009076
You were very helpful anon, thanks a bunch!
Now is my turn to give my best...
>>
>>18009093
It's nothing, no worries.

I wouldn't trust a drug that isn't made to somehow restore your health. I'd make it my last resort. Try other things first. I'm not saying I'm against medicine but just try to do things that come more naturally to your body. Such as jogging.

Make a schedule, that really helps. Keeping a diary on your progress can be a good addition if you don't have the strongest self-discipline. Just note how you felt before, during and after the jog. It can be fun. Take care.
>>
>>18009093
Also, you should talk with your doctor about using this type of thing before going and buying it.
>>
>>18009093
Yeah, you can find it in most vitamin/supplement sections of Walmart/CVS/Walgreens. You should pay around $7.

>>18009097
It's very safe; if you have any problems with blood sugar/diabetes, then yes, follow the directions and take precautions; Fenugreek helps lower your blood sugar and helps the digestion of carbs.
>>
>>18009112
No, no you don't get it. You don't get to have a say unless you are a certified doctor -- more specifically: his doctor.
>>
Don't masturbate.
>>
>>18009120
I'm an informed human being with similar problems who has taken this supplement; I absolutely have a say. My girlfriend has taken this for this very problem. Of course, the OP should do the research and weigh their own variables, but to say that I'm not "qualified" to talk about this is a joke.

Don't be a mark.
>>
>>18009124
I'm not the person who goes to a "magic pill" to solve all my problems.
>>
>>18009127
>implying I'm a person who uses "magic pills"
>implying I look for cure-alls to solve my problems
>implying that it's a magic pill when it's a herb
>implying my GF didn't go to a doctor and had it suggested
>implying supplements don't help/work.

We already had somebody in this thread talk about the mental/emotional systemic issue; why would I also need to talk about it? This is something that can help, so it's worth looking into.

Again, quit being a mark. This is an advice thread, so we're giving advice; the OP can come to their own conclusions. This isn't a debate between me and you. My girlfriend and I have had success with Fenugreek, so I've suggested it.
>>
>>18009137
I never said or implied that supplements didn't help or work. This is the internet and there's a trend for people to tell others who are in a bad state of mind to "eat pills" because it's the easy way.

Sure, it's not a debate between you and me but I seem to be the only one taking the person's actual mental health into consideration. This discussion is over.
>>
>>18009147
You implied that they didn't work, and reaffirmed that point with the end of your first statement; why else would you try to counter my point? Fenugreek is commonly used herb for diabetes, increased milk flow for breastfeeding women, is a libido booster, and is extremely safe, so the "point" of it not being suggested by a doctor is moot; it's safe.

>This is the internet and there's a trend for people to tell others who are in a bad state of mind to "eat pills" because it's the easy way.

Citation needed; I don't know what sites you browse to rectify that, but that's a lot of implication there in a 24-word span.

>Sure, it's not a debate between you and me but I seem to be the only one taking the person's actual mental health into consideration. This discussion is over.

Right, and you did a good enough job with that, so nobody has to offer those sediments; s'why I didn't talk about them and suggested Fenugreek, something that has helped me and my loved ones in a similar situation.

You're right; this discussion is over. Thanks for the great talk.
