Work your ass off because it's what you want, need, and deserve, to succeed and be independent.
Source, 3.5 GPA in business (round about 19+ credit hours semesters on average) while holding two part time jobs most of undergrad.
It will suck in the immediate moment, but that doesn't matter. You want the goal, go for it with all your might and discipline. This is a marathon investment you're making, and honestly you'll be a little more marketable with job experience in those career fairs and interviews. Sell yourself, you work diligently and intelligently, you know hard work.
And honestly don't be afraid to take a gap semester or year. Friends have done it and they're still graduating on schedule.
You'll find ways to keep yourself sane. There's room to be selfish in this whole ordeal.
