First don't worry about being the "disappointment" your family shouldn't make you feel like a disappointment and if they do, they aren't really family. Second if you want to get better or try start small, goals that are attainable to a degree start with those and work your way up. Motivation is hard I know, and you'll have highs and lows with it but muster what you have and push.
