My family doesn't listen to anything I say. If I'm speaking they'll interrupt me mid sentence with something completely unrelated. If I ask a question or want some advice they just ignore me. They constantly belittle me and make up reasons to treat me like shit. And when I say family I mean my close and extended family. All the ones who treated me like a human are dead.

Do you have a network of good friends? I eventually left my shitty family and have never looked back. Having good friends at my side really helped. Also, because I'm a great guy my number of friends has only increased over time as I have met new people.
