However, you don't need to advertise that you own the site. In fact, try to find out who owns some of the current sites out there, it isn't obvious. As long as you don't advertise it, no one you know will find out.

I think it's probably fine in theory, but idk about the implementation. Might be a lot of work to get it popular enough to be profitable though.

Also do your research on the ads and copyright.

Another thing to keep in mind. If you are embedding all of these videos, they are going to come from some site right? These videos will be loaded with ads that you won't get any revenue from. So my question would be, why would I go to a site with twice as many ads to see the same content as the site you are embedding from?

That's a good point. I've been thinking if we should make it some obscure and niche fetish blog to build up "fans" to cone back for more of our top picks. Does this sound like it can work? How would I raise awareness?

Your idea of making a fetish blog is good. A lot of fetishes out there are hard to find content for, so congregating it all together is often nice.

I don't see any real way to make a significant amount of money off this though. The only way to casually make money off of porn (to my knowledge) is to produce fetish content yourself. That or to camwhore.

I work in internet marketing and SEO. You aren't going to make any money doing this, for a number of reasons. I'll touch on a few here:

1) You won't be owning the content you put on your site and in this day and age that means you will be wide open for legal litigation should content creators try to track you down.

2) You need some sort of basic principles of SEO and internet marketing as a whole. People would start websites like the one you're describing in the early 2000s and make bank. That's not the case anymore as search engine algorithms are more complex than ever and your site is going to be shit.

3) Google does not have ad programs for pornographic websites. Ad providers on adult networks do not pay for shit, and since you won't have any unique content and your site is going to be total garbage you're not going to make any money aside from a few peddly cents in a lifetime.

I attempted to do this a few years ago when I lost my job. I've learned a lot since then and am now just full-fledged internet marketing scum.

The above is just my opinion. Since you have no unique content, are paranoid about your personal details, can't seem to code, and don't know anything at all about running a website it's a safe bet this is a terrible idea.
