How do I survive 4 more hours of night shift?
I'm halfway through but I'm dying.

depends on what you're required to do for the night shift. if you have the option to get yourself an energy boosting beverage do so. if not, try to settle for any beverage or snack you can. when i need to stay up i just chug water.
if at all possible, stand up.
talking to someone also helps if you can. but agian it depends on what your work on this shift entails

My entire workday is dragging pallets. I get brief opportunities to check my phone when having them laminated (I won't even try to guess the correct english word).
So I am on my feet, dragging stuff, praying for quick death by forklift.

not much you can do other than ask for a quick break to chug some coffee and some sugar. that is really it. sorry man sounds rough
>>17989670
Gave in. Taking my lunch break. No lunch but I have coffee. Three hours to go.
>>17989762
ill be here if you need someone to jsut check in with. cant offer advice, but i can offer rare pepes and homo erotic pep talks

>I won't even try to guess the correct english word
wrapped (I'm assuming in plastic wrap once they're loaded with goods)
>>17989770
Much, deeply appreciated.
>>17989785
Yes. Plastic wrap. What's the verb?
>>17989800
keep at it anon. just remember that you're a big strong manly man. look at those nice arms, this is only making you stronger.
>>17989803
My break is over.
The next order is 902 kilos. It's too big for one pallet but stupid small for two.
>>17989873
Im sorry anon, your muscles must be so sore, maybe after work i can give you a nice friendly definitely platonic massage to make you feel better while you sip a beer and zone out before sleeping
>>17989885
There is no logical reason why this is helping but it is.
Two more hours.
>>17989953
theres lots of logic, you're just too tired from a long day of being a big ole manly man. dont worry bro, I'll cook you a nice dinner so you can eat before you fall asleep. can i crash at your place tonight? my girlfriends being such a bitch. its okay, we can share your bed, it'll be like when we were kids.
no homo tho.

also man, singing supposedly helps. apparently songs like 'high ho high ho were off to work we go' were sung in order to keep people focused while working.
worth a shot.
>>17989596
Hang in there anon
>>17990000
Take this as a token of my appreciation
>>17990026
thanks?
keep at it anon. i got a girl coming over tonight but I'll be checking this as often as possible until you say you're going home and going to bed.
>>17990038
An hour to go. I think I'll survive.
>>17990116
knew you could do it a man, you're too buff to give up that easily, you should show me your workout routine sometime... but my AC is broken so we might have to just do it in our jocks. its okay OP, I've seen you in the showers before, nothing to be shy about with me.
seriously though you're in for the final stretch. you can do this. just be careful on the way home and please try to get the right amount of sleep before another sihft like this. sleep is life.

>Yes. Plastic wrap. What's the verb?
Wrapped.
did op died?
Op? U ok?
>>17989800
It's called shrink wrap. You're srink-wrapping pallets. I had a job involving this and worked graveyard for 3 years. I used to get burns in my hands from the friction of the wrap.
I feel you, dude. There are moments when you feel like you just can't go on, especially if you've developed insomnia, which a lot of people who work graveyard do. You're gonna make it, man. Don't be scared.
Whenever someone at work was stressing out, we'd just ask each other, "are you scared?"
I'm not scared. It's easy. It's stupid, but it helps, dude. Don't be scared.
