any time you go out in public there's always going to be some sort of insulting, arrogant character that you'll just have to ignore. the method by which you will ignore them, however, is not simple. I'm sure that your 98% number is an exaggeration, but you should really not go if only 2% is actually good people. just ignore all of them and stay positive, and only talk to people that are cool.
