hey /adv/. really in need to vent and for some advice.
So I have bipolar disorder as well as social anxiety disorder and I've gone through the ringer lately with getting my medicine, finding a new psychiatrist, and even having good responsive medication.
Most of the meds i've been on have made little to no noticeable difference to me, constantly having to find a new doctor is so frustrating and all the therapists around me are dolts and barely even listen when i'm explaining my problems.
I just want to know if it's even worth it to get back into the rhythm of things and to get back on medication or to just learn how to live with my conditions.
You're worth it to take meds that are right for you and you would most surely benefit from researching your mood disorder to see how others are managing theirs. You're not alone. Check out local support groups in your area. That's what I do. If I didn't spend time with "my people" who understand me, I wouldn't be managing as well as I am currently.
Yes. Medical science is at its peak right now. There is a solution for you out there.
Do psych Drs actually ever heal anyone? Seems like a massive racket.

It depends on what your definition is of "heal" in this context.
