But even open relationships open to multiple loves don't work either. Usually one person becomes so in love and jealous that they ask to be exclusive. You'd think people are more likely to go with the "cool, open and non-clingy" partner right? Wrong. People, especially women, tend to see an ammount of possessiveness and a demand for exclusivity as a display of true desire, love, and self respect. They feel like that partner actually cares.
