I'm at a loss what to do. I've only ever worked as a dishwasher and recently door to door sales.

I'm depressed almost 24/7 and I literally have no money and no job.

I want my life to be better, I'm turning 30 this year and have nothing.

I never go out, no gf for over 10 years and I don't know what to do.

Medication never really worked for me and I was actually diagnosed with depression.

Tbh the only reason I'm probably still alive is I repeatedly told myself i don't deserve the easy way out.

If youre low income, then apply to FASFA for money to go to college. They give you cash and give you a full ride.
>>
Well, lemme try to help.

First of all, try to get a job,to make sure you dont starve to death.
Then read A LOT about the game and pick up art and practice.

that's it. :)) i formed it shortly but it will take you some time so focus on that.

Not sure what that is. I'm in Canada. I was somewhat happy at last job but I didn't have drive so mood didn't last and I wasn't making any sales.

You know nothing about being in a situation like this, yet you see yourself fit to give advice. Fuck off.
>>17961148
OP, I don't exactly know how things work in Canada, but I bet there is some state funded program to help people like you.
As difficult it may feel to join a program like this, it is your best bet (unless it's just exploitative, then just leave).
Alternatively you can just apply to low education jobs, as I expect you don't have a college degree.
Adult education is a thing too, night college would be a safe bet.

figure out why you're depressed and try to fix it. you can't live a good and fulfilling life when you're in bad health.
>>

>figure out why you're depressed
Depression isn't something that has easily defined causes. Each person must be analysed, interviewed, try out meds, etc. and even then it's not guaranteed to do jack shit.
Fixing depression may easiky take years, it isn't realistic to focus on just fixing it.
You should rather try to fix your financial problems, lack of hobbies and so on.
Depression often disappears when you get other shit worked out.

>Depression often disappears when you get other shit worked out.

which falls under the umbrella of "figure out why you're depressed and fix it"

I've been depressed since early childhood. Brother used to bully me from the time I woke up till the time I went to bed for years.

Got put in foster care because after years of parents not being able to do shit I chased him with a knife when friend was over.

Parents also never let me socialize because they couldn't realize he was the only one that could make me angry.

To date only fight I've been in besides that ass was me trying to pull someone off friend and getting jumped
>>
>>17961293
Well, if you look at it that way I agree with you.
>>
>>17961293
I know some general things that would help but I have trouble getting motivation for anything. I literally have nothing I enjoy in life right now
>>
>>17961302
Well, lack of socialising during childhood is definitely a cause. Lack of empathy/understandung from parents another one.
Do you still communicate with your family, or have you cut off your ties to them?
Do you live on your own?
How did you do in school?
Do you have any hobbies?

easy fix when your problem is caused by: childhood; esteem problems; being alive in general. amirite?

DDont wait for a fix to 'start your life', honestly, or youll never do anything, turn 50 and regret ALL decisions you've ever took (or didnt, because it wasnt the "right time").

Do what others said: join a program to sustain your life and education in an area you REALLY LIKE/LOVE, else your education will be a chore, and therefore useless. If you like arts, fuck it, do it. Knowledge is always useful, even those discovery chsnnel shit may be useful for your life, just gotta find how to fit it into your life.

Other than basic survival and education, you need to get out of your comfort zone; do shit you don't feel like doing, especially if you feel like it's not for you. Do different stuff. Honestyl, even just riding the bus and sitting beside a total stranger and chatting. It may look like shit, but its all those small things together that weave and make your life great in the end. You may see no point for yourself today, but after some time, you start to create conections and seeing shit you didn't before. But this takes time and requires patience and persistence. Persistence is the hardest thing to achieve, but it is the key to it all.

You can't fix your life, and only then start it, because no one's life is fixable. Everybody has tons of shit to deal with, and everybody's got good shit to deal with. On an average day, 50% of what happens just happens, deeming them good or bad depends only on your perspective, on how you feel like you should see the world.

A negative person may win the lottery, and still think only on the bad side,(they'd have to pay tax to deposit the money) It's all perspective, so my only advice is: NEVER BE JUDGEMENTAL towards stuff that happens to you. Things happen in life, they're neither good nor bad unless you assign them these adjectives. Anything CAN be good to you, just look harder.

exercise, improve your diet, meditate.
even if you don't feel like doing it, focus on the fact that these things are scientifically proven to alleviate your depression.

don't beat yourself up over not being where you want to be, just focus on fixing yourself and trying to feel better, the other improvements will follow naturally.
>>
>>17961315
Also THIS, OP.

Exercising, no matter if you're a fatass or skinny fuck, do it, if you can. At a free gym or whatever you have in your area.
I'm a lazy fatass who should do it, but don't, but I do train Kendo at college, and even in those awful depressing days, it helps a LOT, because I have people there for me.
I never talk to them about my personal problems, I'm one of those "charismatic fat guys who jokes all the time, because the mask of laughs and sarcasm hides all the existential dread inside", and I detest talking about myself to others (hence 4chan helps me because I can be anon and do my katharsys here without anyone I know noticing I am that insecure and depressed).
But just the fact of knowing there are people ready to listen to and try to help me is a HUGE help for me. And I only got that "security rock" was by exercising, going out and looking for stuff that would help me. In my case it was kendo, for you it could be capoeira, football, rugby, whatever. I detest sports in general, but it's not coincidence that they are so popular, mate.

>adv actually giving decent advice on depression instead of "lol just b urself"
What the hell is going on?
>>
>>17961324
Maybe for the first time in many springs, some people who actually went/go through this are actually trying to help others through actual ADVICE?
Instead of presumptious little shits who think they know everything about everything and everyone in the world just because they watch anime and "know deep deppression and feel excluded from society" just shooting OPINIONS.
>>
>>17961324
Kinda shocked too. I tried the 7cups of tea support chat I think (was early last year) and all I got were trolls

Just a quick, maybe non-relevant advice:
If you fap too frequently, try to quit porn. I know I may be addicted to it, but not wanting to quit just yet, because my wife does absolutely nothing to me, other than lay on the bed and tell me to stick it in until she cums, with a mediocre blowjob every 6 months (and she runs away whenever I'm near cumming, because she's disgusted by cum)... Yep, watching spitroasting and double blowjob videos are the only things that keep me sane and allow me to live with her.

But if you DO feel that you could achieve more with less fapping. Quit porn for a while. Try to not fap for 2 weeks, and then do increments on that time, 3, 4 weeks... 2 months... Your productivity may go through the roof.

If you fap twice a week, you have one thing to feel good about: porn is not a problem for you.

Might as well either I get energy or get more agitated. I'm ok with either right now
