I guarantee you that anyone who gave money for that will be much happier with that happy ending than they would with the bad news and a partial refund.

Sounds like a sweet girl.... That said, if I donated money to her, I would not mind if she used extra to pay rent or treat herself to something to ease the mourning process.

I would only mind if she didn't try to save her dog in the first place and blew all the money on her own needs.
