Okay here goes. How do I get closer to someone who doesn't talk? I have my roommate that I've known for years but I really have no idea why were friends and whenever I bring it up he doesn't know either. We barely talk and have the same interests. I hear things through the grapevine that he's going through shit and that he wants to hang out with me more but he would never EVER tell me himself. When a mutual friend tells me this stuff he gets upset. She's only trying to help me help him. I don't know what to do at this point. And for the mutha fuckas, no I don't want to fuck him. I just want to be closer friends.

If he wants to hang out with you then just keep asking him to hang out until eventually he says yes. If he's not into drinking invite him to other shit, like getting lunch or even going to the grocery store or something.

Maybe he's secretly in love with you and is too scared to show it so that's why he's bitching about it to your friend
