I'm always sad. I would really like it if people asked me how I was every now and then. If anyone does ask I usually tell them that I'm feeling under; however, if I do they kind of brush it off and don't ask anymore. Does this mean no one actually cares?

Maybe people don't ask you how you're doing, because they know you're always sad and dump your emotional garbage on them. They probably have problems of their own to deal with.

most people have the tendency to "beat around the bush," if it's something that has been persistent for a long time should they be more concerned? I don't want to be selfish, but I would like to have someone to really talk to about this.
>>17959563 why are you sad op?

I feel like I have taken a wrong turn somewhere in life. Instead of doing what I love and focusing on my artwork, I'm working in what seems like a soulless IT job. I'm young and I needed money, but I am not internally fulfilled with my life because I'm not fully pursuing my dreams
Unfortunately yes, most people don't give a shit about you
One of the things you learn when becoming an adult is how to pretend like you're a whole lot more interested in someone else's life than you actually are. This is because basic social skills like politeness and courtesy are not only expected as you go about your day-to-day life, but pretty much enforced thanks to everyone's panties being bunched up more than usual
Getting asked "how are you?" is a courtesy question, not a curiosity one, if you want someone to give a shit go talk to one of your friends or family
>we're all you got
>>17960003 i think I understand you completely. I am studing art now. I decided to go for what I want and study what i wanted to, but I too thought last year of studing law or IT stuff. Are you that unhappy? What did you want to study what kind of art?
