Why does my social anxiety act up one day and some days it doesn't?

I recently just stopped taking my SSRIs that I have been for 6 years. I personally dont feel its a big enough problem to have to take medication and am actually really happy i decided to go off them. They might of worked for the first 1-2 years but this feeling I described happens on/off when I was on 20mg of paxil and still now.

How recently off of them are you? Cuz SSRI's can be addictive and getting off of them is hard.

Have you talked about this with the doc who prescribed them to you before? It's pretty sucky you have to deal with everyday not knowing whether you're going to be super anxious or alright.

Yes. The thing is I had this even when I was taking my SSRI's. For me at least they no longer worked. When I do have it its usually pretty mild but today was decently bad, I was stressed, anxious, mentally foggy.
