When a person doesn't respond to one of your messages on a dating site should you consider it a lost cause and not bother trying to rekindle a discussion with them
Even if before they were semi-conversing with you

Maybe nudge them after 2 or more days with only one message, and if after a week or something they don't respond, consider it a loss.
wouldn't bother with someone if you can't hold a convo for a couple min without getting bored

That's what I was thinking for the majority who do this to me but one of them just kinda said something unclear and then never got back to me.
Really sucks too cause her in specific I kind of wanted to twist into asking out... Even if I know I didn't have much of a chance since she displayed the common low interest trait of sticking to one liners like "Why" "No" "Yes" "Oh"
By the way this is some rude ass behavior I can only seem to get out of a girl on the internet. It's hilarious.
Women on dating sites get free reign to behave like psychopaths. Don't bother chatting with one until you've met in person. Pretty much just get her attention with a line or two of banter, ask for her number, text her the activity, day, and time for the date. Never say a goddamn thing else to them until you have a real life interaction. This is how you weed out the bullshit.
Looks like you got ghosted
Move on
Organize your matches. Before I got into a relationship I would hold on to past tinder matches and message them every 3 months or so. A lot wouldn't reply but some would. It's a way of scraping the barrel but it's worked for me
