>5 months volunteer forestry project in iceland
>2 weeks roadtrip with a group of friends trough europe
Can't have both,
if I volunteer for the project and they accept me (not 100% sure) I wouldn't be able to take the trip.
And if I want to take the trip I have to give up this opportunity (hs dropout neet).
I don't now what I want.
fun vs meaningful
Also wtf am I asking you for? this board is full of cucks.

They're both in their own ways.

Volunteer work. Can be good for getting jobs in the future, you'll enjoy it and it's something different. You'll regret it later in life if you go on the roadtrip

Volunteer.
You'll have experience for work, it can be fun, and it'll be interesting. You'll probably look back at that more than two weeks through Europe

But

They both sound fun. How did you get the volunteer offer? I applied for the rewilding europe project and they turned me away because I'm not studying forestry/agriculture

You probably won't offered the volunteer project anytime soon.
Roadtrip you can do at anytime (overrated too)

Not sure it would help considering I'm not really interested into a job in the field, and couldn't land one either way really.

You'd be surpirsed

I found it, not sure they'll even consider me though.

Any experience is nice to have regardless or not it's related to the field.
