Don't fuck around with your meds. You'll be in pain for days after this procedure, and will likely run out of medication before you're out of pain.
It's also easy to fall asleep on which makes it a total waste to try to "trip" on it, rather than using it for it's intended purpose.

A honest working man told me he took that once in a plane only to be left feeling that the plane could crash and he wouldn't give a shit. I do get your point that its probably not worth the trip since it makes you sleepy and might fuck your balance a few days after, but I don't get your running out of medication thing. The statex pills are literally my second/last call anti-pain prescribe pillls. Im still confuse as to why they gave it to me on top of everything else.

You must have had an easy and very successful removal.
Sometimes, even when the surgery goes well and the tooth doesn't shatter- people have terrible jaw or wound/gum pain.
I suppose it's true that OP may not experience severe pain, but there's a lot of people do, especially once the novacane fully wears off.
