Please say something to calm me down.
I have my first shift at my new job in an hour and I'm panicking.
You can always quit.

If this doesn't work out I will officially consider myself incompatible with society and probably kill myself.
Worst case scenario, you blow it and get fired. And that can be pretty fucking unlikely. In that scenario, what happens? You don't have a job, you find another one, you start your new job, this becomes a memory. End of story.
You always have other choices. Freaking out over something is pointless.

People are always more concerned with themselves than they are about others. Chances are they probably wont even notice or hold you to your blunders. You just started a new job and so you wont know everything off the bat. A good employer will know that and give you time to adjust and give you proper training, a bad one would fire your right away.
Take your time and if things do go bad realize there is little at fault when you've yet to be properly trained. That being said mistakes will happen no matter who you are and you have to be able to take a deep breath and allow yourself to get passed it. Just tell yourself everything will be okay even if you don't believe it and outside of work find ways to relax and rid yourself of work stress.
Start getting on a good sleep schedule, eat properly, dress, shower, go outside, and talk to someone every day.
