it is. its not easy by any means, and i imagine you have other issues that already mess that up if you have to ask. but as long as you have a landline you can get a girl.

i once had a thing with a guy that had a very, VERY old phone. it was kind of annoying because he couldn't send or receive nudes. other than that, i would be glad to be able to toss my phone in the bin myself. it makes me feel so obliged. if you enjoy having no phone, you will drastically decrease your dating pool, but you will also only appeal to girls who can understand. which might be the only lens you are compatible with in the first place

I got a smartphone but I don't give my number to random chicks and communicate with them through IMs stuff or Skype calls. Never had any issues with that approach.

Though why the fuck don't you have a phone? It's just too comfy to miss out on and something like iPhone SE is dirt cheap and very close to high end, giving you tons of benefits.

My mom actually gave me a smartphone for christmas so she can contact me. I hate the thing. I feel like a grandpa but this thing just annoys me. I am definitely not very social, but I still go out and meet people. I've just made it a rule that if somebody wants to contact me they have to send me an email. I don't use social media either. It's just no use and a waste of time to me. When I get in contact with a girl I normally let her do the clinging, but I always used the cellphone to exchange contacts.
