I think being positive has its place in self improvement. Though, the ability to accept negative feelings for what they are (seclusion and depression etc) is required to move on and grow as a person. Sharing your issues with others and engrossing yourself in a pitty party does nothing to help you. The only way out of your system of issues and self loathing is to slowly do better each day in all aspects of your life.

You have to do it alone, because it's your problem. No one will save you.

So I honestly think this isn't a good idea. The goal is to be self sufficient in your emotional mind. Not relient on others. We come to advice when we are drained and looking for answers but the truth is that we know what to do. We just can't bring ourselves to do it.

Be diligent and turn inwards. Don't take this as modivation. It's a change of mindset that you are solely responsible for your future.

In closing, focus on doing what makes you uncomfortable in the world of self improvement because it's most likely the thing you need to do.
