Yeah, the monogamy thing has been a big problem for us in general (I've been in poly relationships in the past and prefer that kinda arrangement) - she's one of the kinkiest person I've ever met and we've done all kinds of crazy shit together, but because of being sexually assaulted multiple times by men she has an instinctive distrust and fear of them/anything to do with them (including me when I've recently been with one for work). If she weren't literally my favorite person ever I'd definitely end things and move on, but it feels like this is basically the only problem in an amazing relationship.

Are you one of those trans girls who's all about your trans identity and online trans community and gender studies and language policing etc? I'm not really into all that (and neither are my friends in the industry) - as long as we're not getting attacked in the streets or being denied human rights I don't care if people see me as part male or use language like shemale - I'm not trying to deny biological realities or the fact that we have a physical/mental condition (which obv doesn't make us less human/less worthy of fair treatment). Yeah, perhaps I'm in denial or hoping there's some way she'll come around to what I'm doing. I think if she were able to experiment more with men (I know she's almost 100% heterosexual and all her fantasies are about men) she might be more ok with it.

That would obviously be an employer's call to make but my real name isn't out yet afaik, so as long as I change my appearance/get boring hair and makeup etc I think there's a good chance no one would find out ;) If my real name did get leaked I'd probably just get another deed poll and change it (already did that once when I first transitioned). I've moved cities/countries more than once before already so don't feel too tied down if I get outed in one place.
