It wouldn't be my first choice, but I'm not the one naming my daughter here!
Weems reminds me a lot of Weena, from The Time Machine. Personally, I'd want a really cutie name to go along with that last name-- like Billie, Charlie (Odd, but lately becoming trendy as a girl name), Bonnie, Ellie... I guess, names that end in -ie. But you have to find what works best for you!

Go for a 2-syllabe name with an -a or -ie ending for the Weems.
